Pedestrian Bridge Over Famed Straightaway at Sebring International Raceway Set for Debut at 2026 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring
A new pedestrian bridge traversing Sebring International Raceway’s famed Ulmann Straight will feature branding from TireRack.com and Michelin when it opens to the public for the first time during this week’s 74th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
“There’s nothing quite like the atmosphere at Sebring, and Tire Rack is excited to be an official partner,” said Scott Clark, CEO of Tire Rack. “We know that for genuine racing fans, being part of the action means being close to the race. By co-sponsoring a new pedestrian bridge along with Michelin, we’re building a dedicated pathway that puts our Tire Rack customers right in the heart of the excitement.”
The TireRack.com / Michelin Bridge provides access between the Alan Jay Paddock in the infield and the area located south of the Ulmann Straight between Turns 16 and 17.
“The addition of the new TireRack.com / Michelin Bridge is a tremendous enhancement for everyone who comes to Sebring,” said Sebring International Raceway President and General Manager Matt Muha. “This bridge will provide fans and participants with greatly improved access to the parking areas and amenities along the Ulmann Straight, making it easier than ever to move around the facility on our busiest weekends given the ongoing growth of our marquee event.
“Just as importantly, it opens the door to brand‑new vantage points – such as a new viewing mound at Turn 16, new camping opportunities, and fresh perspectives of the on‑track action that we know our fans are going to love.”
The placement of the TireRack.com / Michelin bridge was optimized for visibility in race broadcasts – including NBC Sports’ live, flag-to-flag streaming coverage on Peacock of the March 21 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, in addition to linear coverage on NBCSN and international live streaming on IMSA’s official YouTube channel. TireRack.com and Michelin will be featured prominently in the center of the bridge on its East and West sides.
The bridge is the newest addition to a growing TireRack.com presence within the IMSA ecosystem, with significant presence during the IMSA event weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and entitlement sponsorship of September’s TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Last fall, Michelin and IMSA announced an extension through 2035 for Michelin to continue as “Official Tire of IMSA,” a status it has held since 2019. Michelin’s long-term IMSA partnership also includes the entitlement of Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, which annually hosts Motul Petit Le Mans, the 10-hour IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale.
The 74th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will attract fans from all 50 U.S. states and as many as 20 different countries globally. More than 175 race teams and more than 350 drivers are expected to compete during the four-day event March 18-21. Tickets are in high demand, but still available now at www.SebringRaceway.com.
About Sebring International Raceway
Sebring International Raceway is North America’s oldest permanent road racing facility, established in 1950. Sebring was the site of the first Formula 1 race in the United States (1959) and in 2012 hosted the inaugural race of the FIA WEC, which returned in 2019 to run the day before the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
