Frequently Asked Questions

When is SuperSebring 2020?
March 18-21. Gates open at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18. The gates remain open 24 hours a day Wednesday through Saturday.

Where is Sebring International Raceway?
Adjacent to Sebring Regional Airport, just off Hwy. 98, three miles east of US 27. The address is 113 Midway Drive, Sebring FL 33870.

Why is it called “SuperSebring?”
SuperSebring is an endurance racing doubleheader, a weekend of racing like no other in the world. The FIA World Endurance Championship will run a 1000 Mile (8-hour) race on Friday, followed by the traditional IMSA 12 Hour classic on Saturday.

What are the Supporting Events?
The Michelin Pilot Challenge two-hour and the IMSA Prototype Challenge races run on Thursday (tentative, exact schedule to be released at a later date).

What type of tickets does Sebring offer?
Sebring’s “Superticket” is available as a four-day, two-day (Friday-Saturday) or Saturday-only ticket. Other than for Saturday, individual day tickets are not available.

Why don’t you offer individual tickets for Wednesday, Thursday or Friday?
Sebring International Raceway is open 24 hours a day, thus when someone enters the track, they are able to stay through Saturday, making it impossible to offer individual day tickets except for Saturday.

If I purchase a two-day (Friday-Saturday) ticket, when can I enter the track?
After 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Do children need a ticket?
No, children 12 and under are admitted free. However, children must have the appropriate ticket for the Pit Boxes, Club Sebring suite and other hospitality areas.

How do I purchase tickets?
You can buy online at sebringraceway.com or call 800.626.7223.

Is there an advance purchase discount?
Yes. Supertickets purchased before Feb. 17 are sold at a discount. Gate prices apply after that date. An additional “Early Bird” discount on 4-day Supertickets are offered for through Nov. 25.

When are tickets mailed?
Tickets are usually mailed beginning in early December.

I am coming from outside the USA, what do I need to know about purchasing tickets?
We can not ship tickets outside the USA, thus we will hold them for you at our Will-Call ticket office, which is open 24 Hours a day beginning Wednesday, March 18.

What access do I have with a Sebring Superticket?
Sebring is known as the most fan-friendly circuit in the world. Your ticket has access to all non-hospitality areas on the property. Both the IMSA and FIA WEC competitor paddocks are open to all spectators.

What is Club Sebring?
This is Sebring’s premium ticket. Club Sebring is an enclosed suite on the second level of the pit structure that overlooks the front straight. It includes open bar, snacks, a catered dinner on Friday and lunch and dinner on Saturday. Club Sebring tickets are good all four days and include parking in the Ulmann parking lot. Club Sebring tickets are very limited and always sell out before the race.

What is the Pit Terrace?
The Gurney Terrace is an open-air viewing area on the second level of the pit structure, overlooking the IMSA pit area and the front straight. A Gurney Terrace ticket is required to access this area.

What about parking?
There is a charge to park at the track. The price depends on what type of vehicle you have. Car parking passes are $50 ($60 at the gate, if available). Motorhomes are $95 in advance ($105 at the gate, if available) to park in unreserved areas. Please note there is FREE PARKING outside the track at Gate 4.

What if I am towing a trailer or other vehicle?
You must purchase a parking pass for what you are towing in addition to your primary vehicle.

What about camping at the track?
Camping is included as part of the ticket price, however must purchase a vehicle pass to enter the facility, whether it is a car, camper/RV or towed-in camper.

Where can I park/camp?
You can reserve a trackside parking space (very limited availability) by calling 800.626.7223. Prices vary on location – and they sellout very quickly. In addition to reserved trackside parking, there is reserved East Paddock parking and reserved Hendricks Field parking. There is also extensive non-reserved parking.

What size are the reserved parking spaces?
Call 800.626.7223 for information on the sizes available.

If I purchase a reserved trackside space, can I have this same space in the future?
Yes, you will have first right to renew your space the following year.

Is there water or electrical hookups available?
Not as this time.

Is there a charge to bring a tent?
No.

If I camp, how late can I stay on Sunday?
The track closes at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 22, so all spectators must leave the facility by that time.

Is there free parking outside the track?
Yes. Parking and camping is free outside the track (use Gate 4). Shuttles will take you inside the track.

What facilities does Sebring have?
Sebring International Raceway covers over 400 acres and the circuit is a 3.74-mile, 17-turn course. Sebring is an “old school” circuit that does not have the level of amenities seen at modern F1 circuits. However, we have premium viewing options such as Club Sebring, ample restrooms, food and beverage vendors, fan access to all sections of the circuit and a history and tradition unmatched in North America.

Are there showers at the track?
Yes, showers are located in Green Park, just off the Midway and in the Paddock.

Can I bring my own food and beverages?
Yes.

Can I cook at the track?
Yes, charcoal and gas grill fires are allowed (wood fires are NOT).

Can I buy beer at the track?
Yes, our “Beverage Barn” on the Midway offers cases of beer at great prices.

Can I bring a bicycle, scooter, golf cart or ATV?
No, those are not allowed at the facility. Golf carts can be rented on a very limited basis.

Can I bring my dog?
No, pets are not allowed at the track, nor would they enjoy it!

What viewing options do you have?
Sebring International Raceway is a very flat circuit with no elevation changes. The best viewing is from our viewing mounds located around the circuit, small grandstands, and from the pit structure (Gurney Terrace ticket required). Like at Le Mans, most fans like to walk around the circuit and watch from the fence-line.

Are the viewing mounds and grandstands open to all spectators?
Yes. Please note that you can not leave chairs or umbrellas unattended on viewing mounds.

Are there areas for Car Clubs?
Yes, the Corvette and Porsche Corrals offer special ticket packages. Visit sebringraceway.com for more information or call 800.626.7223. These are very limited and sell-out in advance.

Do the FIA WEC and IMSA teams use separate pits?
Yes, the FIA WEC pits are located on the Ulmann Straight just past Turn 16. The IMSA 12-hour pits are located on the front straight.

What else is going on at the track during SuperSebring?
Sebring has many special events for spectators, including driver autograph sessions, manufacturer displays, food vendors, historic racecar displays and live entertainment at the Party Zone in Green Park.

What is weather usually like in March?
While it can vary, expect cool nights and warm days, with high temperatures near 80 degrees. But prepared for anything!

What if it rains?
We race rain or shine! In case of lightning or other severe weather situations, we will red-flag the race and continue when conditions improve.

Are there ticket refunds?
No, we do not refund tickets under any circumstances.

Can I leave the track and come back in?
Yes, you will need to obtain a Pass Out ticket when you leave, which must be presented along with your regular ticket when returning to the track.

What about access for disabled fans?
Sebring has a variety of parking options for our disabled guests. In addition, an elevator is located in the Pit structure.

Are there medical facilities at the track?
Yes, there is a first-aid station located on the Midway and at the Advent Health Medical Center in the paddock.

Is there wireless access at the track?
There is currently no Wi-Fi access for spectators.

Is there a radio broadcast of the race?
Yes, the race can be heard within the facility on 100.7 FM. In addition, we have three large jumbo screens showing the television broadcast. Download the IMSA and WEC apps for more ways to watch and get race information.

Is there a text messaging service for emergency information?
Yes, text “Sebring12” to 888-777 to receive updates in case of severe weather or other emergency situations.

Where can I buy the souvenir program?
The program is sold at the front gate and at booths around the facility. The Sebring program as considered one of the best in motorsports!

What about hotel accommodations?
It is very difficult to find hotel rooms within 60 miles of Sebring as they are usually booked far in advance. If you don’t mind the drive, we suggest hotels in Sarasota/Bradenton, Winter Haven, Lake Wales or Okeechobee, all slightly over an hour away. Also consider condo rentals or private home stays. Contact the Sebring Chamber of Commerce for information.

What is the nearest commercial airport to Sebring?
Orlando and Tampa Airports are about two hours away and offer the most flights. Sarasota/Bradenton is the closest major airport. Miami International Airport is about a three-hour drive. Palm Beach International Airport is two hours away. Rail service is limited, although Amtrak has a station in Sebring.

What else is there to see in the Sebring area?
Sebring offers great recreation, including golfing and fishing. Highlands Hammock State Park is outstanding and downtown Sebring is a quaint and historic town center built around a circle. Sebring is also less than two hours from Disney World and one-hour from Lego Land. Go to VisitSebring.com for information on the many attractions Sebring and Highlands County offers.
