DEREK BELL NAMED SEBRING GRAND MARSHAL
Endurance racing legend Derek Bell has been named Grand Marshal for the 58th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. A five-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Bell also won the two World Sports Car Championships. He ranks third on Sebring's all-time podium finishes list with four second-place and two-third place finishes. He was elected to the Sebring Sports Car Racing Hall of Fame in 2008.
"Derek is a living legend of endurance racing," stated Sebring President and General Manager Tres Stephenson. "We are honored to have him serve as Grand Marshal."
Bell will also serve as MC for the Sebring Hall of Fame Luncheon on Friday, March 19th at the Four Points by Sheraton Chateau Elan Hotel (for tickets call Jan Shoop at 800-626-7223 x218).
